दीवा अते दीवाली

पोथी पुराण कमाईऐ ॥
भउ वटी इतु तनि पाईऐ ॥
सचु बूझणु आणि जलाईऐ ॥२॥
इहु तेल दीवा इउ जलै ॥
करि चानणु साहिब तउ मिलै ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥

जे परमेसर दी प्रापती करनी है ते भाउ भगती दी बती बणा के गुरबाणी दा तेल लै के तन (आपणे स़रीर नूं) दीवा बणा के गिआन दी रोस़नी पैदा करनी पैणी ।

ࠬ࠿࠹ࡁ ࠤࡇ࠲ࡁ ࠦࡀ࠵࠾ ࠇ࠿ࠡࡁ ࠜ࠲ࡈ ॥

To Light this lamp of Spirituality:
Let contemplation on the Spiritual Wisdom of Scriptures be the oil, let the Love of God be the wick.
Then the flame of understanding of Truth will light this lamp.
